A Quick Note to Readers

We're back from a long holiday break (I know you've all been waiting on pins and needles). The first post of the year will come later today, but first, a quick note.

I've been thinking a lot over the break about what the future holds for Sssimpli. To this point, Sssimpli has mostly consisted of startup profiles, browser tips, Android apps, and the occasional opinion piece. While I truly enjoy writing about these things, and will continue to do so, I also want to branch out a bit. I've always wanted to use Sssimpli to highlight great stuff from around the web, be it a great piece of writing, an extension or app reviewed on another site, or anything else I think Sssimpli readers would find valuable. I also want to get you, the readers, more involved.

To that end, I'll be experimenting a bit here in the beginning of the year, so don't be surprised if you see a day, or even a week, of link-blog-esque posts. Now, the paradox I face is this: I want to simplify, to increase focus, which runs a bit contrary to the coming experimental nature. That's where I need my dear readers to step in. If you see something you have particularly strong feelings about, whether that means you want to see more or less of something, speak up. The more input I get, the better Sssimpli gets. If you like the link-blog style, say so. If you like the original pieces, let me know. If you want more focus on Chrome, or Android, or startups, let me know. I'll use your input to grow Sssimpli to its full potential. I'll also be looking for more reader input, so look for a field in the sidebar (or possibly at the end of posts) to get in touch. You can use it to share your favorite apps or hacks, to let me know of something you think I should write about, or just general feedback. I'd like to foster a better sense of community here, because, let's face it, you guys likely have information that's just as valuable to other readers as I do.

That's all for now. As always, thanks for reading, everyone- I literally couldn't do it without you.
