Today's post isn't strictly in adherence with the Sssimpli philosophy- but it's too good to let it go unnoticed.
There's something about the web that inspires, and the same can be said of coffee. When the two come together, it's a sweet, sweet thing.
Now, Starbucks lets you buy $5 gift cards for friends through a special Twitter account. The program is (aptly) called Tweet-a-Coffee. To use it, sync your Starbucks account with Twitter, then add a credit card. Once that's done, you're all set: just tweet @tweetacoffee with the Twitter handle of the recipient of your generosity, and you're finished. According to Mashable, the first 100,000 who gift a coffee will get a $5 gift card for themselves (though I can't verify whether that number's been surpassed yet).
Coffee and the web may be the peanut butter and jelly of our day, so this deal makes a lot of sense, and it's one of the easiest ways to make someone's day.
By the way... my Twitter handle is @robertsboone. Just sayin'.
