Moment is to Firefox what Currently is to Chrome

Thanks to Currently, opening a new tab is a gorgeous experience in Chrome. Currently is one of the many extensions that transform Chrome's new tab page into something useful, beautiful, or both.

In Firefox, new tab options are limited. A few years ago, that wasn't the case, but with most users switching to Chrome, the state of Firefox extensions is not what it used to be. Luckily, that's not the case across the board.

Thanks to Alfred Xing, Firefox users now have a new tab page option to match Currently. It's called Moment. Once installed, Moment displays a minimal clock and weather forecast in any new tab.

Perhaps most importantly (functionally, that is), your cursor will be placed inside of Firefox's address bar when you open a tab, so there aren't any unnecessary clicks involved- a must for keyboard ninjas. Clicking on the weather forecast takes you straight to your local Wunderground forecast.

Options for Moment are pretty powerful, too, including complete color customization: just input any hex color. There are also a few other options, like temperature units and 24-hour time.

That's it. Install and marvel every time you open a new tab in Firefox.

Note that to get the thin font I used in the screenshot, you need to download the newest version of the addon, which is linked to in the description, and which has not yet been reviewed by Mozilla.
